Need help choosing a laptop cooling pad!

    Hello friends!

I need some advice in purchasing a cooling stand/pad. This is the laptop I am running WoW on while I'm home for vacation:

It runs the game smoothly on low/medium. Using core temp, I can see that temperatures get up to ~66 degrees and I'd like to purchase a cooling pad to get those temps down a bit as I want to avoid damaging any internal parts.

I have looked at two options on amazon so far:

    http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Ma...ct_top?ie=UTF8

Are either of these a good option? Or can anyone else recommend something? Preferrably with Amazon Prime so I don't have to pay shipping

Got to play around with one of these not to long ago, made a difference of roughly 10 degrees under load on the GPU (I will add this note: THIS IS PROBABLY MORE SO BECAUSE THE LAPTOP IS RAISED AND GETS A BETTER AIRFLOW THEN CAUSE OF THE FANS) and had some cool features, not saying its better then the two you linked. As I said its probably more so because its simply raised and the two you linked give you the same functionality, so would two bricks.

    But I can recommend it.

I recommend the "Belkin CoolSpot Padded Laptop Cooling Lounge for Laptops" it's basically a cushion with a hard plastic top and a fan built into the centre that sucks air in the back and blows ito onto the underside of the laptop. Can be used on desk or lap, it's great, stops my system with a i7 920XM and HD7970m from cooking my legs during long gaming sessions lol.
