I feel that this game does not belong in 2017.
    Physics / movement "feel" silly.
And more things that others have mentioned.

It somehow feels cheap / low effort. And then there's the rpg complexity, which is... pretty elaborated.

Still, all in all, I expected a much better product.

Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.

    Just, be kind.

Oh okay. I only asked because I've tried googling it and all I kept finding was information about the mission to set up the first outpost on Eos despite my search terms being about multiple outposts on a single planet, I hate it when Google just focuses on one word and ignores the rest.

They have what is shown in the pic, but not what is listed in the spoiler...I can see why people would be mildly irked that a game jokingly referred to as "softcore porn in space" would lack such an option.

In next game we will probably get some green alien jumping down in a ships kitchen saying "Im gay !". Bioware is reaching such levels of writing i would not be surprised if they needed such a strong and straightforward manifesto.

Really though, why can't he just turn around to face me?
It's something they added in DA:I for minor conversations.

I didn't like it then, still not that great now.

I'm gonna leave this here. It really shines a negative light on the development of this game.

    https://www.glassdoor.ca/Reviews/Emp...VW11370424.htm

I worked at BioWare full-time (More than 5 years)
    Pros
    - Used to be a great environment filled with great amount of world class creative talents.
    - Work on a great AAA IP.
    - Great location downtown Montreal.
    Cons
    - Bioware Edmonton and Montreal symbiosis is broken. Lots of conflicts and bro culture.

    - Lost over 13 leads (game design, art, audio, prog, senior core leads, etc) in 5 years at Bioware Montreal on Mass Effect. Edmonton lost only 3. It is clear that Edmonton has the bigger part of the stick when it comes to purge Leads and Producers who are not aligned with their leadership style.

    - Putting people on performance improvement program (PIP Program) is the new tactics to get rid of people. Once again more than 10 people in Montreal got slammed with this bureaucratic uppercut to let go people that are not bending to Edmonton leadership styles in the last revision cycle. This approach is used by the Montreal Leadership to purge the mess from the lack of vision cause by upper management in the last 4 years (throwing people under the bus to protect bad core management).

    - Renaming crunch to Finaling mode. Which means company pays for your lunch but you have only 30 minutes to eat and then getting back on the keyboard. Was lasting for over 2 months and was a real catastrophy.

    - Retaliation and harassment is sadly a reality. If you talk and ask questions you will be tag as a trouble maker and end up in a bad position.

    - HR won't help you out. They will deny the current harassment from Monreal management by ignoring and not documenting the facts. In other words if you leave don't talk. Just let it go...

    - Many benifits got cut due to too much time extension to get the game done.
This sounds like fucking Konami toward the end of Metal Gear Solid 5's development. Only they had way more competent people working on the game. Being a triple-a game dev is fucking awful right now.

Because trans people wouldn't be widely accepted by 2185... totally realistic. What the fuck? Not to mention they have gene therapy so transitions would likely be way easier. But I'm not going to talk about trans issues in a fictional universe. This is just pandering at its worst.

There isn't a single mention of her being trans, she says she had a boring job with no perspectives and wanted a change...

I've never understood the reason behind this change. *shrugs* Definitely preferred the pre-DAI system here.

That's some sledgehammer level of subtlety right there.

Stephen/Stephan is a relatively gender-neutral name: more often given to boys, but girls have it too sometimes.

I mean, she might be trans, I don't know, I haven't gotten that far into the game - but quoting these lines and strawmanning them to "I came to Andromeda because I'm trans!" is petty even by Bioware community standards.

Iron Bull\Krem thing was super good, I'll agree with you on that. Wasn't shoved down anyone's throats, it was revealed casually with regular 'bar-talk' and was asserted quite firmly and non-awkwardly. I loved it.

    Kinda long the lines of:
Inquisitor: "Got no problems with him being a woman?"
Iron Bull: "He is not a woman - He is a man. And let's leave it at that."

Yeah come on May, we all see what she's getting at.

I find it tough to imagine that humanity has issues with self identity after all of the events of 1-3, on top of stuff in the lore like the First Contact War. There are bigger fish to fry than if you go by Louis or Louise. Sure the SJWs would be busy flipping out about Reapers if anything? :P

    The anger isn't about that.

Its about a very disparate ratio of romances since Jaal was discovered to be straight instead of Bi as some people reported. This means straight male players have 3 options (Cora, Vetra, Peebee) Gay Female players have 3 options (Suvi, Vetra, Peebee) but Straight Female players have only 2 options (Liam and Jaal) and Male Gay players have only ONE option (Gil).

Frankly, I'm not sure why this is worth being upset about, I mean, previous Bioware games either had only 1 gay option for each gender, or none at all. The anger here is supposedly because Straight Male, and Gay Female got so many, but Straight Female, and specially Gay Male got so few.

To be honest, this does sound like complaining for the sake of complaining. Mass Effect 2 was worse. In there, there were no gay options for either gender. And Female players got stuck with only 1 decent option (garrus) and one okay option (Thane). Whereas Male players got 3 very solid options. And nobody was making an uproar about it back then. Why make an uproar about it now?

Por que odiar si amar es mas dulce? (*^_^*)

I think part of the complaints are born from the fact that BioWare was getting better in terms of offering up multiple options for each sexuality/gender, but this game represents a step backwards. Again, more last-gen type shit with limited romance options rather than expanding and improving them.

Now, it would be fine if they had messaged that options would be more limited with this game compared to prior games. But by not setting expectations, folks continued to expect to see improvement on this front. Seeing the contrary, especially with so many other issues in the game right now, is justifiably disappointing.

Just because she mentioned her past and her present name, doesn't mean her reason to come to Andromeda was her being trans... I mean, is it something that even needs explaining? I would expect people criticizing Bioware writing to know something about reading, at least.

It just goes to show that no matter what bioware does, SOMEONE somewhere is gonna get angry. Says a lot about how whiny this generation is.

Include more LGBT romances? Bioware is an SJW pandering nest of spineless sacks of shit who are too afraid of offending anyone.

Include less LGBT romances? Bioware is insulting the LGBT population, and appealing to the straight male 12 year old dudebro demographic.

You just can't win these days.

Previous Bioware games had very few LGBT options, or none at all, and nobody was raising a fuzz about it. Then come Dragon Age Inquisition which had quite a few LGBT options (well over four if I recall correctly) and all of the sudden, everyone starts shitting about it. In comes Andromeda which apparently toned down the LGBT options, and again uproar? seriously? The fuck do people want?

There are other romances one is a bi male human, one is an asari reporter and the last one is a straight female Angara. So it goes :
Straight Male : Cora, Vetra, Peebee, Asari Reporter, Female Angara. = 5
Straight Female : Liam, Jaal, Bi male Human. = 3
Gay Male : Gil, Bi male Human. = 2
Gay Female : Vetra, Peebee, Suvi, Asari Reporter. = 4
I mean not every combination needs to have equal options.

They'll probably add a Squadmate in a DLC, a gay Quarian or Drell (I want another Drell squadmate BIOWARE please). And people will scream : "WHY IN DLC BIOWARE ??????"
