I shit myself on the best CGI ever made to sell an XPAC story

Square is good but that CG was better than Blizzards CG IMO
Going to have to disagree with you on that one. Wotlk was good but didn't nearly have enough action.
The new SWTOR trailer hits all the sweat spots for story, action, looks and it has a cliff hanger that was done just right. The SW trailer had just enough and then leaves you with wanting more but didn't end in a way that ruined the experience.
don't get me wrong, blizzard makes some amazing trailers but SW has them beat hands down on the new one.
If only the game had a decent engine to run on.

I wanted to play so badly to Wrath that I really liked its intro, but actually does not say really much. To be honest, W3 videos of Arthas ascending made the work. On the other hand Wrath epilogue with game enigne is quite remarkable, if only it was made by CGI
Knights of the Fallen Empire is awesome, yes, they xpac may not be up to it, but the trailer is so good it fills you with renewed passion. A piece of art that calls for a book or an actual movie. Could be Disney behind of this?
I've enjoyed pretty much every single of the trailers\cinematics that SWTOR presented me. This one, as per usual, did not disappoint. Good job.
On topic, to claim it's the best ever on an MMORPG Expansion Pack - hm, I wouldn't say that it's the clear winner, nor would I be able to pinpoint the exact winner among the top dogs of cgi trailers. I love them all.
I'm glad you really liked it.
For me, I just can't connect anymore with the same tired, brooding carbon copy white guy anti-hero tropes. Maybe it's just because I'm getting older now. Maybe because I've traveled more and realize the world is a much bigger and more complex place than it was when I was in my 20s. Maybe I've just seen one too many of them (or maybe a million too many) and I'm just burned out on them.
This is the cinematic that got me to try SWTOR at launch. Now to me, this is storytelling:
My one pet peeve is that once again, we see one side willingly giving up the high ground. I mean, don't they teach anybody combat tactics in the Republic?

Yeah i wouldn't say the best.. but its a damn fine one at setting the tone for the expansion. The moments there are the end, right in the feels. I thought the white dressed kid came out as a badass initially, but the overwhelming presence of the Emperor there at the end was a great.

That trailer was intense as fuck! Gave me goosebumps. A total unexpected surprise from EA/BioWare. As much disdain I have for the company and the game, I have to give props where they are due.
One thing that these trailers always seem to get right is showing just how dark Star Wars can be where the Sith are concerned; something I feel the movies slightly lack. The constant seeking of approval from his master by the apprentice in the trailer was never going to be met until he broke the bond with his friend.
An incredibly moving and visceral trailer. 10/10.
