    Is force of nature viable?

I mean for Balance - feral's incarnation is too strong for either of the other talents to be viable.

A 100% buff is pretty substantial, and I think timing FoN casts with trinket procs, etc. is much more interesting gameplay than hitting incarnation on CD or the completely passive benefit of SotF. That being said, was the buff enough? When used properly, are the treants finally worth taking, or at least a viable alternative?

Pretty much the same issue. The tier needs some work.

Though wasn't the buff to the Resto version?

Nah. They scrapped the resto buff.
Force of Nature's summoned Treant now deals 100% more damage.

Now if only they told us which ones. We have 4 different versions of the spell and only one that can't be it.

And made the stupid things at least scale with mastery. It was ok before when we had other stat priorities, but not having them scale with our strongest stat is annoying.

There was/is a bug that causes FON to deal approximately half the intended value. The 100% buff is there to band-aid fix this bug. With that said, FON can be viable in single-target encounters. SOTF should still win patchwerk. FON should win target-swap burst and heavy movement. FON is awful without +Int_Proc trinkets. If the encounter calls for controlled burns or multi-target (add waves), Incarnation is king.

Basically, you're still using Incarnation for everything.
