Help with a super-cheap gaming laptop

OK, so I have a friend that ONLY plays WoW on his computer. He might try other stuff someday but for the moment it's WoW with a custom UI, masterplan, a click to heal addon, blah blah blah.

So he's wanting to upgrade his system and he's leaning towards a laptop but knows just about nothing except that his budget needs to be below $700 and the lower the better the chance of his wife touching his wedding tackle again sometime before the rise of Cthulu.

Given that constraint I went ahead and just checked out best buy for their refurbs but before I really push him towards something I was hoping to get one of you fine folks to spot check me. :-)

Here is the one I think would work best for him:

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-pavil...&skuId=7058173

It should just be a 5-year laptop. I tried convincing him to just order custom from cyberpower but once you add in the monitor and OS it got too expensive.

    Thanks!

The laptop you linked likely wouldn't be very good for WoW if it would play at all.

You need to find a laptop with a dedicated graphics card.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...CE&PageSize=30 would be a good list to start.

Unfortunately "only WoW" is pretty expensive requirement, especially if it needs to be viable for 20+ player raids. From the above link this looks promising.

Yep, looks pretty good. I've had several ASUS laptops (for many things, not just games) and never once been disappointed with them.
