    Gaming PC up to 1500AUD

Hi everyone, I'm looking to build a new PC specifically for gaming at high FPS and max settings.

Budget: up to 1500AUD (Australian dollars)
Resolution: Currently 1080p, but would like to get 1440p in the future
Games / Settings Desired: high FPS, max settings (e.g. Fallout 4)
Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc): None of this
    Country: Australia
Parts that can be reused: My parts are pretty old, the only one I might reuse is my 128GB Intel SSD
Do you need an OS? Yes, Win7
Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)? No

    Preferably would like a heatsink.
CPU I'm probably getting an Intel i5 4690K
Would also prefer a Nvidia GPU
Everything else I have no preferance.

    Thanks for the input!

Can't post links yet but this should do for you. You'll need to use your current SSD for the OS.

Thanks for the replies! I've taken input from some of your suggestions.

My picks so far (I've edited some of the prices with sales that I have found)

I'm still on the fence with the motherboard and PSU (people have suggested 750W but is this necessary?)

I was going to go with a blue-black build, does anyone have any suggestions for improvements?

    Thanks

The coolermaster 212X i got linked is the updated version of the evo you got on your list which is also more expensive. So no reason to buy it, its loose/loose situation.

Psu, system at full load can't even break 350w. 750 is way too much, its even alot more than you would need to sli gtx970. So wasted money there as well.

The sale on gpu is good grab it.

The ram you got picked won't fit below the cpu cooler, its too tall and its alot more expensive for nothing. You need low profile ram like the one i got linked.

Finally the mobo is fine but its bottom of the pile. Saved money from the other parts that was unecessary can get you a better board and that was what i tried to do. Better lan chips, better audio, more phases for overclocking etc.

So modifying your list with the saved money from sales:

if you want a little newer psu model i would look at SeaSonic G 550W 80+ Gold Certified but its also more expensive and you won't really get anything "more". The antec is seasonic oem as well.
