Because they are - like me - not fans of Rep Grinds. Efficiency is in Order to rush to the Achievement -> less Time doing awful Apexis Dailies.

The dailies are a joke. I complete them all in less than 30 minutes. I just go through and tab SW:P everything, shotgun Devouring Plagues, and Cascade on CD. I like the Apex dailies, they are better than those stupid Molten Front, or Argent Tournament dailies by far.

Maybe you could do an emote and set it up to tell whoever you click they got hit with flying poop as you did a flyby?

Nope, but I'm close to getting the achievement. I can't wait to fly in that godforsaken Tanaan and the rest of Draenor. Will make collecting lumber so much easier.

Last time I checked PTR it required exalted with all, which definitely no one in the world has yet. So when did they nerf it down to revered?

It's been revered since always. Easily obtainable with Medallions of the Legion.

From today dev Q&A :Patch 6.2.x with flying should be on the PTR within the next couple of weeks. It should go live not months and months from now, but some number of weeks.

So 24/25th aug then? But we all know how often Blizz changes their stance and how often they fail to deliver promised content in reasonable timeframe. So mid-late sep isn't bad guess :/

I think you should rethink your vocabulary. At least. It means at the very minimum. My sights are on mid September because it's going to be a month not 2 weeks before the PTR. Go back to your cave.

Flying or not flying has little to no impact on subscribers. Drama queens still subbed to the game just like to keep making you think otherwise and that they are unsubbed due to no flying when they hadn't even lapsed their sub.

Isn't quarter report shown in august? Then care to explain that "obvious" reason because I don't see any that will affect numbers taken on 30th of june.

You do realize it's going to require testing flying in many parts of Draenor and fixing bugs related to it which there will be many. Draenor was designed around not flying. There's plenty of cut corners terrain-wise due to that.

I don't think that's actually true. There's some (there's a big invisible wall around hellfire citadel) but you already can see Draenor from the air using the feather in most places, and during much of development they still hadn't decided what they were actually going to do with flying (and such would have designed it with flying in mind).
It's trivially easy to tell that this continent was not designed in the same way as prior ones where flying is not expected. Silvermoon, where you still can't fly, is paper-thin around the edges because you can never see it from above. Draenor has a lot of inaccesible hills and mountains with no content on them, but there's little missing terrain geometry as you are implying.

It will still need some testing, but maybe two weeks not an entire month.
