Changing faction what will...

...happen with my current followers and buildings?I know some will chanage depend on faction,but will all others (followers) still same or is chance to lose some in process? Also does anybody know will change faction affect on shipyard and legendary quest? Will quests stay on same lvl or they reset and will must start from beginning?

I would imagine not as things like shipyard and legendary quest require time and effort. Shipyard is difficult to maintain with all that garrison resources and legendary quest rings take a long time to acquire.
