i checked it out a long time ago out of boredom.

it was essentially a "hot-or-not" experience where only the attractive people get swiped right,
and all the ugly people get tons of identical escort-bot spam messages from fake accounts.

Tinder is a hook up app not a dating app, best used around college campus's.

Also the people that swipe "like" everytime dont use the app correctly and i dont know why they use it at all... I only swipe like towards people that i have a chance with and thats why i think it works for me. Go within your means

A lot of my single friends where I work use it and have mixed experiences. A few made some longer term relationships others are still playing the field. At the end of the day dating is dating. Weather you use an app and wait for a match or walk up to a girl in a bookstore and ask to take her for a coffee. Either they like the look of you say yes and you see how far things go or they say no and you move onto your next victim...

used it from time to time, and didn't have that many scams tbh. Meanwhile all the other comments about empty conversations, dumb stuff, and average people overglorifying themselves, are true.

what do you have experience in it?

My impression is that Tinder works ridiculously well. I have three friends who all met their girlfriends on Tinder dates.
