Problem with MIC on new headset Razer Tiamat 7.1

Hi there I have something of a problem with my new headset Razer Tiamat 7.1. The sound I finally got to work but my MIC doesnt work still. How do i get the mic to work properly ? I know its nothing wrong with my com puter due to fact i used a Turtle Beach px22 headset yesterday and it worked fine. I need someone to link a vid or a short explaination or where to find one so that i may use my headsset to play and raid in game with. Lol pls feel free to explain in detail how to fix this due to fact im not that tech savvy on how to fix things lol. thanks

Make sure your computer isn't still expecting the mic from your turtle beaches. Go into your audio/sound settings and look at the mics available it may still be on the list. If so make it forget the turtle beach mic and set your razers as the default
