Salvage Crate buff today?

So taking off my Tin Foil Hat for a bit. Ever since the patch I noticed a decrease in the Crates. Yes yes I know they no longer gave a 100% if you do a level 100 mission. But I still noticed them being drastically low.

But today I've gotten at least 6 on all of my characters after completing my first round of logging in for them. 10ish missions on each with 4 Characters. a lot more crates than any day since the patch has launched.

Has anyone else noticed this? Thought maybe luck on my end. But it doesn't seem likely considering it has happened on 4 different occasions with my characters.

i can only add this,

I saw more crates today aswell. Also noticed more gold missions appearing across all my chars.
lets see if it continues.

Seems the same to me, got no gold missions on some characters, and no salvage crates on some.
