    I live western WA state (on an island about 50 miles north of Seattle), and... I'm trying not to melt. It's a bit hotter then normal :P I don't typically need 4 fans in my house moving heat! Most people here don't even have central AC.

    Also playing swtor, and wondering if I should take a nap before the fireworks keep me up until 4AM. My husband is Navy, and deployed... so we live near several of the bases. People around here are really into fireworks on the 4th... at least when we lived in TX there were fire bans preventing that.

    updating my new pc, trying to see if I can yet use to windows 8.1.. so far I'm longing for windows 10 to get here.

    Windows 8 meant to be for touch-screens only, seriouslly, my hand sometimes hurts with the mouse clicking everywhere to achieve one task. Sometimes I click wrong thing, and then camera app pops up and then it loads like 2 min, I mean eh.. I use linux mint/Windows 7, and waiting for the w10 upgrade

    Got back from a run...8.5 miles which is a mediocre weekend run for me, but it's 96 degrees out. I have a love/hate relationship with Portland summers...sunny every day, but too damn hot. Luckily the humidity is bearable.
