As to a source for the groundwater claim.....ok:

The Popular Mechanics quote highlights a surface spill......there has never been any groundwater contamination from a drill site other than a surface spill and the incidents of that are what.....2 wells out of how many thousand drilled in the last 2 years.

And people have been doing that in the region for hundreds of years. They are after all sitting on a huge supply of natural gas which all on its own seeps upwards into ground water and gathers naturally in wells.

This highlights the issue though. One claim in a documentary from a landowner involved in a lawsuit becomes the rally point of misinformation. Perhaps you missed the video where the EPA presented that owner with test results showing no contamination of the water on their property.

If you've watched Gasland then I suggest you also watch FrackNation. FrackNation is by an award winning journalist from Ireland investigating fracking. In fact, here is a clip of the director of Gasland admitting that people in NY could light their water on fire from as far back as 1936:

But maybe you, like Josh Fox think it's not relevant to include the truth.
Yes, what you've said is true. However, I'm talking about towns that have their entire water aquifer contaminated with natural gas as well as contaminants from the fracking. In every single case of mass contamination, it happened after fracking operations began. You can google the town names in Pennsylvania.

Without discounting the events or whatever, these are again regulatory problems. Not problems inherent with the process.
