MM Hunter - When to Break Tier-17 4 Piece

I haven't been able to locate any numbers to indicate which option I should go with.

Heroic (No socket, not warforged) Tier-17 4 Piece

or

Heroic (No socket, not warforged) Tier 17 2 Piece + Heroic (No socket, not warforged) Tier 18 2 Piece



Additionally, I have a 20% upgrade in the chest slot that I would take advantage of due to the result of this change that isn't a Tier piece.

According to Azorthorian, you break Mythic T17 4p when you get Heroic T18 4p. Not sure how Heroic T17 factors into things. Try simming it?

I don't know to sim, which is why you find folks are here hopefully to assist me.

Go with the second option (2t17 + 2t18). The raw stats make up for the loss of t17 4pc.
