Delay Applying Follower Upgrades

When you are trying to apply 30x 'Braced Armor Enhancement' and have to wait 2 seconds between each one it gets annoying. I remember that there used to be no delay between applying follower upgrades, but there is now after 6.2. I'm wondering if this is just how it is now in the new patch, or if I have some addon issues preventing me from applying upgrades quickly? Also if there is any way around this to apply them faster?

I've searched for addons and the only I can find is FollowerGearOptimizer, but it still has delay. I'm also using MasterPlan/Garrison Mission Manager.

I don't think you can anymore, probably as a failsafe to prevent mistakes or something. I think it's pretty lame especially at this point in the expansion where you can pretty much gear every follower to 675 the moment they ding level 100, assuming you've been keeping your garrison up to date.
