Iirc, $n is the internal variable that is used to mark the name of the person that does the emote (yourself).

Yancey the mage npc that wanders around the garrison has/had two string token errors in his script. They fixed the mailbox one in patch 6.1, but never did fix the bulletin board one.
I guess Yancey was programmed by the intern.

No, the character that does the emote. So if Yancey (if that's the name) walks up to the Bulletin Board, where you normally would see: "Yancey is posting on the bulletin board", the actual line is "$n is posting on the $o". Originally Posted by BassX97
