Is Sudden Death better with 1 handers?

I'm fury and I use 2 handers and Sudden Death while raiding but when I'm just in the world doing dailies or whatever I switch to Furious Strikes. Using Sudden Death seems slower and takes longer to kill enemies.

If I switch to 1 handed weapons with the faster attack speeds will I see a big increase in Sudden Death procs or is it constrained to an ICD. Tool tip says about 2.5 PPM is that number with slow weapons, fast weapons or an average of slowest and fastest. If I have the slowest weapons now and get much faster ones will I be seeing closer to 5 PPM?

There is no ICD. It is RPPM. I'm not sure how RPPM interacts with weapon speed, though.

Thanks. I have extra empowered fragments and one handed weapons from Tanaan I'll jump in an LFR and check it out.

Sudden Death now proccs at the same rate for 1h as for 2h, they changed this sometime at the beginning of the xpac, because people only went for 1handers for that very reason.
