    As a trend german people can be more blunt because just telling you the dress looks fine when you look like a fat cow in it is deemed dishonest.
    And it sets the one asking the question up for later embarrasment/disappointment/harm, which is not ok even if lying could make you avoid seeing it firsthand. It is the cowardly way out to use a white lie in such a situation.

    I wish we had a leader that could say no to foreign pressure. Merkel should just tell them all to come to the US. Border's open.
