Is it enough 1gb graphic card memory to play WoW at 1080p best settings?

Nah, you will need at least 2GB to be on the safe side. Last time i checked, on my shit machine, at a windowed 1600x900 (which is around 1460x850) it occupied around 1,5 GB in full ultra.
my 760 is using about 1.3-1.5gb of memory during 20 man raids on ultra and without AA, so I guess it wouldn't be that optimal.
Yes it is. Don't worry about 1GB. I have a graphics card using 1GB that runs WoW just fine. The amount of VRAM used depends on your games settings. You can run WOW max settings minus AA. Can probably still use the AA as well but like 2x or 4x.
I can't think of a single graphics card that only have 1GB vram and can run WoW at max settings on 1080p.
No, you can not. You might be able to run it at medium.
Not too true anymore. Ever since MoP especially, zones will call for well above 750MB of VRAM, so if you can provide WoW with more, you should.
Not to mention, it's about impossible to find a gaming GPU anymore with less than 2GB, anyways.
(Please, do note, I said "not too true anymore" not "THIS IS FALSE.")
Maxed settings on 1080p screen requires about 1.5 GB of VRAM. WoW is also pretty nice game with high memory graphics cards because it will preload as much textures into the VRAM as there is available to reduce lag while zoning.

Since Cata DX10 (now DX11) mode already required 2GB card for maxed settings.
I can't even think of such a video card other than some really old ones.
I have mine set up for max player model textures, spell effects, and water effects. Everything else more minimal. I run it at high resolution with a 1g video card.
