Disney is reportedly at work on yet another classic reimagining, this one based on 1963's The Sword and the Stone.

Variety reports that Game of Thrones writer Bryan Cogman is attached to write the script. Obviously the live-action version of a classic animated film won't be as dark and violent as the HBO series.

The Sword in the Stone was Disney's loose adaptation of T.H. White's novel, telling the story of a young orphan named Arthur who became the famous legendary figure King Arthur after pulling a sword from an anvil.

Disney has already made live-action adaptations of Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent, and Cinderella, based on its own animated library. It's also currently developing adaptations of Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book, Mulan, Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Tinker Bell, Fantasia, and Aladdin.
