Deserved or undeserved, Hamas does more harm for the Palestinians than good. You would have to be a damned fool to not know how Israel will respond to violent actions, so everytime Hamas kidnaps and murders kids, or fires indiscriminate rockets, they are only setting Palestinians up to die. They know this, and they count on it to promote the existence of their organization. No person that actually wants peace in that region would ever support, defend, or justify the actions of Hamas. The utter eradication of their organization is currently a necessary step for peaceful co-existence.

You have all the power it is irrelevant if they want to negotiate or not you do what you want anyway.

Your primeminister said he doesn't want a solution aka maintaining the status quo of slow ethnic cleansing to continue until the day when all of former palestine is incorporated into the state of Israel.

The apartheid regime to keep the ethnic balance in check is a racist time bomb.

....you're an idiot. There are countless times where people with "all the power" negotiated and gave away stuff. Germany as it exists today couldn't have happened without post ww2 reconstruction from other countries, for example.

Anyway, this whole thing is off topic. The people in question had other places to build. They chose not to. They are being evicted. /thread. I won't be reloading this topic.

Israel has been continuously building settlements while "negotiating". Israel has been an occupier for 50 years. Israeli politicians come out once every 2 months stating THEY HAVE NO INTENTION TO EVER SEE A TWO STATE SOLUTION. Then a day later they do a massive double blackflip as soon as the Western Media starts reporting their statements.

As soon as the media attention goes away again, they repeat their statements of no two state solution. And return to building settlements. The Palestinians fire a PVC pipe rocket at them, the Israelis retaliate by bombing civilians with White Phosphorus. But it's the Palestinians fault.

Common. Really? Really? You are calling the Palestinians out for not being serious? The bullshit is sticking less and less these days.

Palestinians ask for UN recognition. Israel retaliates militarily.
Palestinians try to sign treaties with foreign Western nations for collaborations and cooperation. Israel retaliates militarily.
Palestinians build a village in their own territory. Israel retaliates militarily.
    Palestinians complain. Israel retaliates militarily.

You are seriously calling Palestinians out for "lacking good faith".

The original demolitions were illegal too under international law. This combined with restrictions imposed by Israel on Palestinians building on their own lands.

The excuse is absurd. It's very similar to the whole civilians in Gaza thing.

Israel builds 18 foot fences around Gaza and blockades it militarily.
Israel proceeds to bomb civilians in the blockaded territory.
When people complain about civilians being bombed, Israel puts out a statement saying, well they should have just moved somewhere else.
While Israel has an 18 foot fence around Gaza and is blockading it militarily.

Common. Do you believe the what you write

Let's use the recent convenient way (from this forum) to make excuses: Netanyahu's words are just rhetoric, he didn't mean it and is probably nothing more than a mistranslation, you should stop taking it seriously.

By the way, if you think this is political or one sided look for the history of how the Gaza strip was even created, thousands of Israeli citizens with illegal housing were pulled out of their homes and their property was destroys... by the same leadership that is "ethnically cleansing" that settlement.
America doesn't remove your ability to own a house.

Israel just moves in and destroys and displaces all the people who live in these places. Illegally I might add, but hey all they ever respond with is "It's not really illegal because they aren't really a nation".

Your opinion that these people have no right to live is atrocious.

There won't be a two state solution as long as East Jerusalem and the right of return are demanded by the Palestinians, division of Jerusalem would require a referendum that would never pass, right of return is something that even the left would never agree too if they were in power.

    as simple as that.

also, PVC rockets? left your cave recently?

There won't be a two state solution as long as Israels fundamentalist people vote rightwing nutbacks into office.

If they should manage to do so by accident the fundamentalist people will just kill them off.

read it again, having right or left is irrelevant as long as two of those demands are up front, end of it.

I know it's "the thing" for younger people to be anti-Israel right now. If you ever actually studied the history of Israel and the millennia of persecution against Jews, you might actually change your mind.

Well, maybe. As a person who grew up in a country that is not always under attack, it'll probably be hard to fathom the depth of their persecution and be able to understand why they go to such lengths to protect themselves.
Of course studying millennia of persecution makes you justify the atrocities they're committing now.
    Makes sense.

Glad to see normal Israeli willing to work for peace.
Unfortunately, being Israel probably the closest definition to an extremely religious/fascist state the local media isnt reporting on it.
The village will be destroyed. That's for sure. But I'm glad to see people take a stand.

Israel has nearly all power over their little native reservate they get full responsibility how they treat the natives even if the natives manage to attack some pilgrim settlements.

See the native americans didn't file their tax forms upfront so they had it coming.
