Some women maybe. The majority of my friends met their boyfriends/husbands when they were still in school and they were still relying on their parents providing for them.

I think you're confusing being stable with having a lot of money. Me and my husband have a stable economy but we don't have a lot of money by any means.

But the concept of being "stable" revolves around some amount of money. Some financial threshold. Some level of assets/cash/etc that add up to being "Stable". There's no other measure of being "stable" than your finances.

It's just funny that people will balk at one concept but embrace the other.
