Newbie asks - Multi/Crit build viable in norm/HCs than mastery?

So.

I main a hunter but wanted something for fun and went enhancement with my old shaman. However, to get into pugs I went healing and I like it a lot!
When doing normals and hcs I get the feeling that multi/crit would suit the needs more? How strong is mastery and when does it start to kick in?

Sorry if I'm all wrong! I'm just curious. The playstyle would be so much more fun

haste or mastery are your best stat depending on where you are. for serious progression, mastery is better because the raid is going to be taking a lot of dmg and your mastery will start to kick in. otherwise go haste. MS and crit aren't bad stats they're just lower on the totem pole
