Just a heads up as there was some good info on this site. RIP.

The actual reason the website is going offline is because Skullflower got a job at Blizzard and Blizzard do not like their employees making profit off of fan-based websites.

Yeah, look at all that ad revenue from summonstone.

SummonStone generated no money. At all. It's a conflict of interest issue.

I hope someone picks it up and continues on with it. Was a really nice place to get a lot of info without all the bullshit.

That's upsetting. I've been wondering whats been going on ever since the forums went down for maintenance and never came back.

The forums were shut down because we did not see the point in it, with all the other forums. It was saturating the market, if you will, while the rest of the site was something "mostly" new.

True enough. I think Drye is going to move towards a PDF format like you have.

The guide format was very helpful and similar to how many of the new web standards are written today. Hopefully someone with lots of spare time can host this on another site.

I was sad to hear this news. The site is fantastic for quickly looking up info for alts and the like. Thanks to the people who contributed.

Why can't anyone take it over?

One problem would perhaps be that Skullflower was very respected in the community and someone else wouldn't be able to motivate people to write guides for free.

Wow so it shut down, that's really really sad, actually. I enjoyed the layout and easy to follow guides - no ballshit.

    Ehhhhhh, this ruined my day.

I just made a small website containing all the old guides of summonstone. It might be a bit buggy since I just imported a cached version of the pages.

If you are an author of a guide or even Skullflowers and don't want it to be online, just contact me via pm. I hope to add some admin panel soon, so the authors may be able to update their guides. Disclaimer: All content belongs to the old summonstone page and their respective authors.

You will find it here: http://www.sakray.net
