Someone on Reddit said you can but didn't explain how. When I hit the button to buy it immediately demands credit card information. Maybe a version issue of PC versus cell phone or something. Any ideas?

Blizzard site states that as long as enough balance is on the account, hearthstone will automatically attempt to use that instead of credit cards.
