Duel of the Leaks

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to be the first time we have three expansion "leaks floating around"
Last time we had The Dark Below VS Warlords of Draenor, and the less interesting sounding won.

Now the mexican (Gurubashi I guess) standoff is between Council of Glades AKA Guardian of Tirisfal expansion, Army of Light and Ther Dark Prophet

Now we will learn the truth on the 6th but before that, let's speculate.

Of all these three the Dark Prophet sounds like the most possible to me. The GoT expansion sounds like complete hogwash:
south seas, emerald dream AND several revamped cities, the only competent dwarf leader executed, Med'an having a role, Illidan appearing out of the blue, new Nelf starting zone, no thanks.

AoL has the benefit of being a more or less organic followup of WoD, but it has a few issues. For instance why would we care about alternate Azeroth? We stopped Garrosh cause he had a portal to actual azeroth. Draenei rogue? Tauren Mage? Undead Paladin? Come on, even Blizz isn't that stupid.

Plus, we go farther and farther away from Vol'jin, Sylvanas, and all the mess left on Azeroth after the end of MoP.


TDP reads like wishful thinking, but nothing in it suggests that it would be a bad idea.

Anyway it is safe to say that the villain is Gul'dan and/or Azshara, as the listed villains are Gul'dan, Azshara/ Gul'dan, Medivh/and Zul, Azshara respectively.

So, which one is it?

Council of Glades is just a possible trademark, doesn't have anything to do with the bad fanfic "Guardian of Tirisfal".

Honestly the Chinese riddles are making me seem more in favor of Council of Glades.

Personally I hope it's Bolvar and Sylvanas and the Silver Hand, though. Not the alternative Gul'dan and Tyr....

At least one theory coming out of the chinese riddles (and one I support) is Sylvanas tries to usurp the Horde by killing Vol'jin, and that gets Bolvar and the Ebon Blade and the Argent Crusade and the Horde and the Alliance on her ass.

Hopefully not. Tirisfal Glades has a lot of potential to be a lore rich expansion filled with werewolves, zombies, ghosts, fairy dragons, tentacle monsters and bondage. Maybe not the last one, but still pretty epic. GoT is simply terrible

Thanks. We have four. Another Azshara leak. We really are going to have more nagas it seems. This leak is probably a miss though as Archimonde isn't exactly dead and beisdes if Illidan kills of Sargeras he probably doesn't need to hide from Kil'Jaeden.

I used to really love her, way back in Warcraft 3, but it is painfully obvious that Blizzard can't write compelling anti heroes for a long time. Or don't wants to. Wrathion is pretty much a full villain now.

Silvy was simply delusional in Cataclysm, but now she is completely psycho. The only reason she isn't completely dead yet is that we don't have anyone to replace her as Queen B*tch of the Forsaken. They need a racial leader.
