Seeking a new monitor, looking for some suggestions

As everyone here knows, upgrading a monitor is a big deal. You gotta really get the right one for the right price.

I'm seeking a new monitor. I have some criteria that is required, as follows. I am not willing to deviate from these:

    -Ultra Wide
    -at least 26 inches
    -1440 resolution
    -500 or less USD

Any suggestions? What I'm finding are monitors that say they are 1440 but are not true 1440.

By Ultrawide do you mean 21:9, cause nothing fits those requirements (the $500 or less part to be exact). All 3440x1440 are $1k or so. If you mean 2560x1440 then GW2765HT.

I find that really hard to believe. Why would a 1440 monitor be 1k? That's the ballpark of 4k.

As a sidenote, the monitor that you suggested is neither curved nor ultra wide.

21:9's market is niche and faces barely any competition. A 2560x1440 would be cheaper of course but that's not what you're looking for.
They all use the same panel except the Samsung one which uses their own PLS panel. You can literally count the amount of 3440x1440 monitors with your fingers.

While they're all good monitors, the prices are higher than what you're asking for. The only alternative are refurbished ones and not sure how keen you are on that.
There's an AOC one but I don't know how well it performs but it's still higher than your asked $500.

Okay. Lets narrow it down to ultra wide curved, not necessarily 1440. any options?

This is the only one I know of.

Haven't seen a proper review of it yet so I don't know how well it performs.
I don't know how well Samsung's VA panels perform. AUO's AMVA are pretty good but no idea about Samsung.
