The investigation into former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle is reportedly deepening as new information revealed he bragged to a colleague about paying $100 to have sex with a 16-year-old.

He also reportedly tried to pressure that same colleague (whom he was involved with at the time) to have sex with men she met on Craigslist. These allegations were made by the woman and then reported to her attorney.

Business Insider said it has reviewed text-message conversations between the female,a former Subway franchisee employee, and Fogle. They also claim the FBI is now involved and the agency subpoenaed an affidavit containing information about the relationship and what Fogle was proposing to the woman.

In those messages Fogle allegedly asks the woman “repeatedly” to advertise herself on Craigslist to have sex with other men so he can watch. He’s also accused of telling her she could make $500 per act.

Fogle and the colleague were apparently involved in a sexual relationship at the time, Business Insider reports, but she became extremely uncomfortable the more he pushed her. She then hired an attorney to look at her case. Fogle and the woman reportedly met at a Subway event.

The publication said, “The messages in the affidavit, which the attorney says were recorded from the woman’s phone by a court reporter in 2008 and witnessed and verified by a notary-public official, span from January 2008 to June 2008.” Business Insider goes on to say they independently verified the authenticity of the affidavit and that the phone number is registered to a Jared Fogle.

In addition, WGN says Fogle reportedly asked the woman and her underage cousin via text:

May 1, 2008: “When can we find a time for me to talk to your cousin?”

May 2, 2008: “Any more news with your cousin?” “Tell me what u think about when u think of the three of us all together???”

April 2008: “How young would you like?… Would you want to have an adventure like that?”

June 19, 2008: According to the affidavit and WGN, Fogle asked the woman to advertise herself on Craigslist, prompting her to ask, “Is this the same website you found that 16 year old girl you that you f*****? …I still can’t believe you only paid $100 for her.”

Fogle reportedly said: “It was amazing!!!!”

When this story broke in early July, Subway didn’t hesitate to sever ties with the face of their sandwich products. It began with a raid on Fogle’s Indiana home on July 7.

Crime Feed first told you about that raid and about an employee, Russell Taylor, of a foundation Fogle had who was arrested on child porn charges.

At this point, no formal charges have been brought forward against Fogle. Business Insider says the age of consent in Indiana is 16 years old.

Thing to keep in mind is that I believe the age of consent in his state is 16, so while certainly creepy this would not be illegal, at least not the fact she was 16 anyways.

As creepy as it is if the age of consent is 16 in that state there's not much you can do. His alleged possession of child pornography is an entirely different issue though. And lets be honest if you're having sex with teenagers as young as 16 you're probably willing to go younger. Just disgusting

I am not a Jared supporter, but if this chick can produce actual evidence such as texts and/or e-mails with Jared stating these things, fine, until then I don't buy her story at all.

No guy is going to brag about having sex with 16 year olds that he found off craigslist to a female co-worker, or colleague, and also try to convince them to advertise on craigslist to be a prostitute so he can personally watch.
