It gets harder when you have fleeing enemies, because you will have to adjust the location and timing of your W basing on the distance and hitbox of your enemy. You'll need some practice, but as nerraw said, ganking will never be more fun.
especially early/mid game, some people just don't expect to be pulled away from their journey to their gate
on the other hand, enemies will get used to you and start fleeing in zig-zag-lines, same as you'd run from stitches or KT.
One tip for engaging heroes with a knockback (hammer is the prime example) is to start mounted and safe your Q for after the push. but that's a rule you could use with nearly every melee.
If you specc into clean kill (rank 4) you can Q-spam minion waves later on and heal full on them (if specced Q in the beginning). The Q resets even if the first auto hit after the Q kills the target. Pretty awkward and i don't know if intended. Early on you will have to damage the wave first with a W. Taking the first two ravage-talents also gives you the option to eleminate enemy minions (zagara spawns) very fast.
I prefer kerrigan + tyrande or kerrigan + butcher :P
But honestly, nothing is more fun than kerrigan + tyrande on Spider Map. Although Kerrigan + Sonya works great there too.
Yes, I felt that today when I tried it; That's why stuns and knockbacks towards you help you can still use the combo when someone is on you in a counterattacking manner to do some damage , the blades will just hit a little later.
Anyhow, it's very intuitive design by Blizzard - easy to learn and the moves just fit so well. It takes practice to master in different situations. An as you guys pointed out - makes for fun ganks
So far managed to get it on 3 player opponents but its hella dangerous if they all focus you down so I try to do it when their life bars are already depleted. In most 2v2 situations, it's a a high chance for landing a kill;

Ah, another great week for QM. Only thing to be worried about are Leoric players who believe their trait makes gambling with their lives actually worthwhile.
How is that different from the average Leoric when its not on free rotation?
I've seen so many Leo's even in HL (rank 20 till 10 anyway even) that ended up with stats like 5-12 or something insane.
Resurrecting fully into enemy team while we're not even close >.>
Seeing as I've been having so much issues climbing out of MMR hell on my main and having minor setbacks on my alt account, I can't say I've been doing much QM lately :P
---- Edit ----
After just posting this, I got a Leo in my HL.....
He died, no joke, 6 times within 4,5 minutes.
At the end of the short match, he died 13 times.

One of our friends almost exclusively takes leoric when we queue as a group in QM and goes for sustain, we've ended with some interesting games where he's topped hero damage and damage taken (dual tank setup with ETC) while the rest of us are assassins. We focused more on objectives, rather than teamfights, where as you can probably figure out by the stats, we are not that great at. Still, the wave clear nerf is just a minor setback. Leo can dish out some good damage.

I'll be trying Sylvanas and Kharazim for this week. Still don't have a specialist yet, so it will be nice o get some practice on Sylv again before deciding which one to buy (Wont be getting TLV or Hammer before the other ones anyway)
Oh I fully agree that Leo is a great character. I play him once in a while in QM too and also going with sustain normally.
However the past ones I've seen (HL mostly) have been just terrible ^.^

Tyrande
Azmodan
Zeratul (12)
Illidan (15)
Jesus Blizzard. Put Murky in rotation once every 3 months at least. For fuck's sakes.
Auch, thats gonna be a painful roaming squad.
Diablo + Tyrande + Zera/Ray is lethal as fuck.
Ah well atleast I will get around to level up Tyrande a bit more.
Gonna be a great week for players who can trap the typically overextended Illidan and Zeratul in QM matches. Tons of easy kills. On the other hand, there's potentially fun to be had for Abathurs since there will almost guaranteed to be one of Aba's two prime subjects to hat, though whether or not the average QM player would know how to capitalize on their new-found powers from Aba remains to be seen.
Laning Azmodans (who only ever lane) is what I'd be concerned about.
November 10th - November 16th

Tyrael
Thrall
Chen
Sgt. Hammer (Available after you reach player level 12)
Lt. Morales (Available after you reach player level 15)
Small update by the way. In the near future, the total number of free heroes on the rotation will be increased to 10! Whether this happens with the Cho'gall patch or the next one is unknown. But for new players this will help in earning gold faster and find some heroes you really enjoy to play.
Cool. I can finally play Morales.
