As the title says, howcome class mounts can't be made to work like profession mounts towards the mount achievements?
Like eg. Engineering flying machines or Tailoring carpets, they can count towards your total but you can't use them unless you have the profession.

Because currently how things work out, unless you're a warlock, paladin or a deathknight you get 2 less mounts towards the total count.
Paladins can even get a +3 to the count with the Argent Tournament charger.

So say you're trying to get one of the achievements, you have 145 mounts on your priest...
Then you hop on your DK, Paladin or Warlock and you instead have 147.

Why not just make them like profession mounts to there's +2 Warlock base mounts, +2 Pally base mounts and +2 DK ones if you buy the skeletal gryphon.
And then to those who can be bothered doing AT on a pally they get another +1.
So then you log on any of your characters and it's at 145 + 6, letting class-specific mounts count towards the total count of mounts on a character but having them be unusable by anyone not of the required class.

This also turned into a slight rant because 5am, sorry
