This too. I would be so infuriated if a stranger truly came up to us and make such a proposal.

However, if there was a woman who walked up and wanted to pay $10k to join my g/f and I for a night, this we could discuss. But one and not the other? Nah.

If this was open to discussion for both of us and a decent proposal "because she finds us attractive", then yeah, I wouldn't get furious. We would probably laugh it off and turn the proposal down politely. I mean, it's ok if you upfront go and say "hey, you're both smoking hot and I have this idea, how about that" - no hard feelings, I just have different type of character and different values and that kind of a situation is a no-no for me.

But if the guy shows up with money and just like that tries to pay me for my girlfriend and even asks like a total douchebag "how much for her".

Personally, I would think standing up for your g/f and showing your love for her by defending her self worth by turning down the money, might get you a special thank you later that night. I'd take that over money.

A relationship isn't a vendor machine where you do "Nice" things and once you reached a certain treshold she'll spit out something in return. Seriously you should be getting these things regardless and not because she feels obliged to so as to pay you for the stuff you do for her. Not much difference from what this guy is pulling at all and feels a lot like the guys who expect girls to jump into bed with them for being nice.

You have to look at it from everything. A guy walks up with 11k, says he'll give it to you for an hr. Myself, I would go with him for an hr. The problem here is, he asked the boyfriend, as if she was his property. The girlfriend realizes this, and is literally coped into being rented out. For no amount of money would I sleep with a guy/woman if I am simply treated as property as another person.

Meanwhile, back in reality...If my girlfriend were to do something special for me, I would do something special for her. Likewise, if I did something special for her, she does something special for me.

I'm not talking about typical pleasure, i'm talking about above and beyond. If the roles were reversed, and she was offered $10k to give me away for a night, and she stood up for me and chased the guy off, I would make that night, a night just for her. It's called showing appreciation.
