    they are interchangeable with each other. and he's statements are still true, in both cases.

    Ah finally a response that isn't trolling nonsense.

    I think green tech can and should be subsidized but with extreme oversight because of the fact its so highly politicized its developed a shield to abuse and manipulation that simply shouldn't be tolerated.

    Take this instance for example, more than half the money was wasted on consultants and "energy auditors".

    That simply shouldn't be allowed and if it wasn't for the political hysteria surrounding the whole green tech/AGW/whatever fight then there wouldn't be so many people willing to let government contentiously use the banner of green tech as a slush fund for wealth redistribution.

    That's what happened here.

    People got scammed under the guise of green tech and the result was government directed money be taken away from X and given to Y.
