Serial child molester is also a cheater. Color me surprised. /deadpan
I wish this was true, but sadly you're wrong. It's a little under half in the US, at 42%. It's been going down in the last few years, but it's still 42% too high for any country with Internet access. There's a reason the Scopes Trial and Kitzmiller v Dover happened.

That Ashley Madison hack is ruining a lot of people's lives. I hope that hacker didn't brag about it to anybody, because the $500.000 reward is hard to resist

I find it funny people are more obsessed with a TV reality TV star than all the people cheating on their spouses on the government dime, they where al ot of .gov email addresses
It's good to be at the top.
Adultery was punishable by death in Mosaic Law, but what happened to King David? He's spared, the baby is killed.
Here's this guy, the top of his own little tribe, doing the worst of the worst which they condemn in strong rhetoric, and what is the result? I can't find a truly reliable news source, but there have been statements implying that the wife wasn't meeting her husband's needs. Oh sure, he blamed himself publicly and called himself a hypocrite, but that underlying idea that they want Anna as a scapegoat seems very plausible.
And in another funny twist of irony, people of a different flavor of Christianity will use this to validate their own belief system. "See, we have holy spirit, cause we don't have people like THAT guy in our faith."
That doesn't mean much for a site that didn't use email verification.
It's the link to the credit card information that's unearthing people, not any email address.

Don't forget that he blamed porn in his apology and did a "devil made me do it" approach. Which is basically "apologizing" without taking ownership for actions.
I just wanna know what kind of porn he watched. I'm hoping it was hentai.
I would be more concerned with the security risks of government employees using their government e-mail for personal affairs and vice versa, that includes you, Hilary.
I swear, it's like trying to explain to my father that he didn't really win a scooter for being the 1000th visitor, just enter your credit card information.
Or because the government emails don't actually link to the people who own them?
Or do you really think Barack.Obama@whitehouse.gov is actually on Ashley Madison?
Do you have examples? Because I don't really care to sift through all that info.
If government officials are using official assets to do this on work time then they should get into lots of trouble.
However if they are just cheating bastards -- well, it may be relevant to their re-election, but isn't an abuse of public assets.
