While I don't condone revenge porn I think people get way too upset over their nude photos being leaked to the public.

People who post their ex's personal info for the purpose of harassment can die in a pit of fire though.

It really isn't. Sure, you can slap "my ex-girlfriend" onto any video, but there's plenty of it that's real and cause real harm to people.

If you have an effective way to police the internet, be my guest. The general, unspoken rule until then is that once something's online; there's really not a lot you, or anyone else can do about it. Any attempts to 'properly' police the internet almost invariably result in breaches of privacy (ironically), which have a habit of going very strongly opposed; as we saw with SOPA/PIPA.

Exactly what law enforcement is already doing-- go after the big fish. It would be too much of a hassle to try to track down every single jilted ex who submitted revenge porn, so go after the guy with the website who's publishing it.

I'm still of the opinion that the overwhelming majority of "revenge porn" is simply people making pornos and trying to market it as something else besides just homemade porn.

Also yes, I know of the cases where the guy was running a revenge porn site, plus a site to get revenge porn taken down and got busted. Doesn't change my opinion on the matter since people upload and reupload videos to tons of sites.

It's definitely a good thing that he's been put in jail for it then, I can understand having them taken down for free, that what sites that I'm on do if you discover someone posting you on them without your consent, but charging for it is a stupid and criminal move that targets the victim. So, yes, good riddance as well.
