Potential incoming Elf faction - what would your reactions be?

So, you may be an elf lover, or just one of those people who actually just want your cherished horde or alliance free of long pointy eared players...

what if a few expansions down the line or even a WC4, this is exactly what blizzard did? It all started in Legion, when blood elves and night elves worked together and proved formidable in stopping the demons, where Alleria's returned started a process that would mend the rift between high and blood elf, and the tenacity of the highbourne was revealed to unite all the Elven peoples as one and restore the glorious days of the past.

Eventually they all gathered together - controlling western and northern Kalimdor - Feralas the most southern point, Winterspring the most northern - Capital on Hyjal, Suromar and the Southern half of the Broken Isles, a good chunk of the risen continent Azshara brought to the surface before her defeat, and Quel'thalas. Their faction allies include the Draenei, The Worgen and the Panderan, with Cenarion and Furbolg allies.

Humans Alliance - comprised of Dwarves, Humans, Gnomes, Forsaken undead and Vampires have the largest presence in the Eastern Kingdoms, with a toehold area in Kalimdors Dustswallow marsh and southern Barrens. Most of Northrend.

Horde - comprised of Orcs, Tauren, Ogres, Ethereals, - Eastern, Central and Southern Kalimdor, Highmountain and the northern 3rd of the Broken Isles, Outland continent, bits of western Northrend

Trolls - comprised of the united Troll tribes, Goblins, Tol'vir - Tanaris, Un'goro, Uldum, South Sea Islands, Southern part of Azshara's risen continent, Southern Eastern kingdoms, from Stranglethorn Vale to Swamp of Sorrows

    No thanks.

and you say "potential" as if theres been an ounce of evidence pointing towards this. Theres no way Blizz makes 4 factions.
    - RIP Notorius Thugz - Miss you guys

I would say it's quite possible.

I suspect it will be introduced in that potential patch where we potentially get to start the game and play as the main villains. Can't wait to potentially name my Arthas Character xxSephir0thxx

Where did the Vampires and Ethereals come from?

I certainly doubt Alleria has that much of an effect over blood elves, let alone high elves...

I don't see elves making it, but Trolls are kinda on thier way I also think it would be possible of them forging alliance with Tol'vir- at least Farraki ones. But I honestly don't see goblins among them, there is nothing that ties both races, and I honestly don't think they'd get along.

And lastly I don't think it would happen anyway seeing how game mechanics are enabling drastical plot changes.

And there aren't any vampires in WoW, unless you count http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/The_San'layn which are undead elves.

I guess "potential" definition changed during the night into "not the slightest chance".

MMO-C first source of vocabulary news !

Haven't you followed the lore? There are some vampire bosses in Icecrown Citadel with Blood Queen and the San'Layn. Maybe vampires is the wrong word, but it is pretty close since they are Undead.

There are a couple of Darkfallen missing, we will most likely see them again with Kelthuzad

I like how the human faction has the most races and has forsaken undead - they're double undead!!

Not gonna happen. It is a to big risk atm since all players are expecting horde/alliance as it always have been.

I can't help but extrapolate that since the Alliance will never get Blood Elves back you've passed the denial phase of grief and have entered the compromise phase. That compromise being "If I can't have BE then no one will".

I would like to see Elves and Trolls form a faction.

I would do something like this:

Human Alliance: Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, Worgen

Ancients Alliance: Elves (all), Trolls, Tauren, Draenei

    Horde: Orcs, Goblin, Forsaken, Panderan

I wouldn't mind separating blood elves from the Horde, preferably at the waist or neck area.

Potential incoming is a bit of a stretch.
