Quick note. It's per pound of LEAN body mass. Fat doesn't require extra protein. For accurate bodyfat measures, I bought a set of plastic skinfold calipers and used the Jackson Pollock 3 site method.

    You don't need protein powder.

Just eat natural proteins. Some good protein sources: milk products (milk, cheese, yoghourt etc.), chicken, beef, tuna, oats.

I actually had to look up who this Vegan Gains guy was after reading this as I'd never heard of him before.

Holy shit, he's a special kind of attention whore. Loves attention so much he doesn't care whether it's negative or not.
    ...wants to kill babies.
...prefers choking women as opposed to having sex with them.
...claims to enjoy violence against others.
    ...etc.

Vegans seem to really pick some winners as their mouthpieces.

Do you have stuff like Quark in your country, OP?
If you eat two 500g tubs of those, you'll already be at 80 grams of protein. If you stir a scoop of protein powder through them, you'll be at about 130 gram on about 700-ish kcal.

I found it helpful to use a dymatize gainer when i was starting out. Eat natural protein, chicken in particular, if you can, but two scoops of the powder in some chocolate milk may help the calorie count.
