As much as I have a fetish for cross... Oh god my eyes!
But really, high school is not the place for this kind of bullshit.
Maybe we should examine whether or not it's fair to have different dress codes assigned by gender. Yes, it's just kids pulling a stunt, but it doesn't hurt to consider the questions they raise when they start poking around to find the boundaries.
I don't care to see guys in dresses, but neither do I want to see billboards on the roadside or hear country music. Maybe it's not for me to disallow things based on my own preference. Maybe it's not reasonable to expect other people to clothe themselves in accordance with my own comfort. Where does that stop? I mean, I don't like seeing old people in swimsuits, or socks with sandals.
So it's a case of a teacher not getting a joke?
Some things will never change, and if we'd turn the time ahead another 100 years, I suppose.
The kids got my support..
In fact, I suggest they switch from formal attire to lingerie for the yearbook photo, just to piss the teacher off even more lol
"The pen is mightier than the sword.. and considerably easier to write with."
That's ok. It won't be an issue once Sharia law takes hold in the country!
Why are they not wearing any shoes? I find this more confusing than the dresses.
Well, I went to Media school and some were sporty and others geeky, but even the geeky ones looked more manly, prolly because everyone had that puffy beard.

Dunno man, the 3 on the left look like those "freaky girls", still girls though.
Damn, they're all pretty cute in those dresses too.
I have eaten all the popcorn, I left none for anyone else.
Well, I could imagine how a sister of the blonde guy in the lower left corner could look like. The other two I can't make anything feminine out of. I think perhaps, I am imagining how they look like more close up, because I draw similarities to all the guys I've grown up with. Making it hard not to see the features that would make them look nothing like girls. This was a very weird explanation, I am so sorry.
Yeah, at school we used to have a switch day, boys dress up as girls/girls dress up as boys. I remember one of my friends mother's who was a teacher and she said we looked like a bunch of prostitutes, we took it as a compliment.
Time...line? Time isn't made out of lines. It is made out of circles. That is why clocks are round. ~ Caboose
One Year our teachers did Rocky Horror (just the Time Warp) for us one year at Halloween. My male english teacher was on stage in a minidress and fishnets I think his wife might have been dancing next to him.
Still the most masculine swedish males I think I've seen.
I always chuckle about "equality" when girls are pressured to wear pants and not be girly, and men are shot down for dressing feminine. Yay equality, everyone can be equally male!
Also, as far as HS yearbook stunts go, this is TAME.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.
Just, be kind.
Ah the pesky freedom of expression..
Cool initiative.
Btw OP what is your obsession with Sweden? And grats to making what might be the first Sweden thread by you not locked in 1h.
But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.
