[WeakAura] Possible to Auto-clone a WA with non-aura trigger?

I know you can create dynamic groups with auto-cloning for triggers set to Aura + Multi-target, but is there a way to do this with other triggers?
I want to have a new progress bar with a fixed duration (1 minute) appear each time my custom event triggers. Anyone know if that's doable? I can only find dynamic groups used for checking buffs/debuffs.
