It should have never made it into the game in the first place, but since it's here and people are obviously invested in it...

It should only be in WoW as an alt catch-up mechanic when the current content is dried up and the next expansion is looming.

Current content should be grounded always.

It should be unlocked via exploration achievements, as it is now, each expansion going forward. I enjoy this method, and if it was the norm, there'd be more acceptance over it. It's the best way to ensure the hardcore playerbase sees and does all that the art team worked on. While dangling a carrot for the less inclined by seeing other players zipping about flying.

It's a good method and dangling juicy carrots on string has something they've been increasingly bad at the past few expansions, this feels right to me.

We have had dozens of threads if not hundreds and thousands of posts about flying on this site if anyone wants to find and go through them. Another thread about it at this time is unnecessary. The question is largely settled in any case.
