Should I return (Horde) for pvp yet?

I shut down my acct with the new season because I was just sick of the imbalance on Horde side.

I've seen the trinket buffs, doesn't sound like much tbh.

I'm aware of merc mode.

When last season ended, and we were given only 1 week to gear up in blues through honor to be able to be on a more even keel with alliance, and I was seeing about a 10% win rate in bg's I just gave up. It was too frustrating. And the idea of starting that far behind and STILL having to gear up through losing bg's, coupled with three lvl 100 toons and two in their 90's, I just saw no fun in that Idea. So I shut it down.

That being said, merc mode could equalize bg's a fair bit now. And this weekend is double honor. I could likely gear all 3 toons in blues and some epics if win rates in bg's are decent for horde. And maybe carry on into arena with my old partner. I've seen the ratings, alliance still smashing in arena and rbg. But if it is at least reasonably competitive I'd enjoy it.

So I ask you all, is it fun again to pvp as horde?

That's a big old nope.

Merc mode didn't fix a thing, except making Alliance queues shorter.

you dont have to lose BGs to gear up.

Im not sure why people still think that is the only way, or even the quickest way, to get honor gear.

Its not even close.

But PvP still sucks balls. Kill times are far too short. Im getting blown up through defensive cooldowns in seconds.

Its nothing wrong with Horde in general, the problem is that most people (I know many) switched to Alliance.

Im one of those that dont believe a racial should/is gamebreaking. But people do too much which means theu join Alliance side.

no. if it wasn't so damn expensive i would transfer my mains to alliance. i only play for pvp and it sucks on horde side in bgs :\

hell, on my server you cant even use warspear as its constantly attacked and camped by alliance.

Come Demon Hunter I think most will try Belf+DH it might be a great choice but we need to wait and see..

I'm like you I guess. I play horde only, and I only play for pvp. I'm not about to blow $125 to move toons over to alliance. I couldn't stand the thought of giving blizz that much for their screwup. Besides, I've been Horde since vanilla, made Warlord there, and have never played alliance. I picked a side for the battle between the two races and the thought of not being Horde and fighting for the same side I've spent so many years ganking seems too traitor like.
