For how much does it usually sell for?

I always wanted this weapon since i saw it, it's so ancient and rare to see! so i kinda threw a full goldcap on it :3
I play on EU Outland and most items, even the ugly T3 pieces go for atleast 100k

so i assumed this one would go to goldcap so i did it before someone else did.

is this bad move? How much does it usually go for?

Edit: Those who didn't get it, i misspelled it and ment Arcanite Ripper (The WOTLK Pre-event gitar)

yeah it goes for gold cap ive also seen the heavenly black cloud serpent go for gold cap

Anything that's really cool and completely unobtainable has a high chance to reach gold cap on the BMAH, unless you luck out on activity. I would've waited and fought whoever bids, especially since you had the gold to win. You probably had a good chance to save a few 100k, but since you had the gold, 100k is probably pocket change to you.

I'm not really sure how it would qualify as rare to see considering its one of the most common heirlooms to see on people. I've got like 6 scattered around on various alts. Seems like a silly purchase to me unless you're pretty much just looking for something to drop money on. I'm guessing you just want something to link in trade chat and that was far too much money for that. For transmog, there are much more rare looks to see like the Spinal Reaper if that look is your sort of thing.

Usually less than 100k on my server I think. It's not really that popular.
I have it on one or two chars back from WOTLK and never used it since, I don't really think it looks good.

Since the inflation is sky-high, almost every semi-interesting item goes for a pretty high price. Some days ago, the Ripper was on a high-pop realm on EU and it went for 300k+, didn't see the exact final price.

usually goes for either nothing or up to ~150k at best on my server.

As others stated, it doesn't really look good. Even using low texture graphics which I dont really like.
