    Dislike button coming to Facebook

A "dislike" button has been constantly requested by some users since the introduction of the now-iconic "like" button in 2009.
"People have asked about the 'dislike' button for many years," Mr Zuckerberg told the audience on Tuesday.
"Probably hundreds of people have asked about this, and today is a special day because today is the day that I actually get to say we are working on it, and are very close to shipping a test of it."

Given how some people desperately troll for Likes as it is, a Dislike button seems likely to stir up a bunch of stupid drama and make a lot of people butthurt...

    I approve of this.

Another way to fit more ads into people's feeds, no doubt.

People who beg/ask for likes, I will intentionally dislike now
Still wondering why I play this game.

As long as it shows who disliked a post. I've never been in favor of anonymous attacks on posters, one of the reasons I love mmo-champ, they stay far away from any sort of post voting.

For me personally, Facebook was a bit like religion; a lot of people tried to shove it in my face and claimed it was necessary and right and good, I tried it for a while (like a decade ago), then used my head and realized it was completely pointless shit, left it permanently and couldn't have been happier since.

It has its uses. It really depends on whether or not you appreciate the things it can help you with. Why Facebook made you less happy is a very intriguing question.

It's not at all intriguing to those of us who have seen how useless it is.

Liking a sad post means you care.... disliking a sad post means you don't care....

Sometimes a product creates the need for it.
