Mastery rating "too high"?

I know there is no such thing as too much Mastery - but I am still curious...

Should I be trying to trade out a few pieces without Mastery to up my Crit/Haste levels as they are extremely low? Raid/Food buffed I am at almost 4.4k Mastery (120%)

For example... I can put my Heroic Tier Chest back on and use 730 Mythic Crit/Haste pants as an off piece instead?

Generally dropping ilvls on gear is not a good idea, especially not when its a question about your best stat, changing your food both or a few enchants is a way better way to go about it.

I still don't believe it will be much of an improvement if any.

Definitely do not drop ilvls. Intellect is your best friend here. I'd say you are fine as is. Your stats will balance out a bit more when you start getting your hands on some of the BIS gear (ie Zakuun bracers, Tyrant boots)

I don't know that you can have too much mastery. That being said, all the secondary stats are a lot closer than most people realize. I'd stick with higher item level pieces.

I'd love that amount of mastery :'( as others have said when you get the highest ilv gear you'll drop alot of it. I love mastery, but never liked those boots cause of the versi, I had trash boots and now have tyrant boots. Likewise I've not been lucky enough to get tyrant ring, but have tyrant weapon meaning my mastery is what I'd consider to be on the low side. Hopefully i can pick up a mythic archi staff and sort that out sometime soon
