    Mogging heirlooms into other heirlooms

I've never had difficulty mogging looms into other looms before, as long as they're of the same weapon type or armor class. Sometimes one that isn't ideal looks better than the one your spec should be using, and if you've got a full set of them and they only cost a gold apiece to transmog, why not? I've transmogged my fire mage's heirloom int staff into the Burnished Warden Staff without any issue, for example.

However, when I try to mog my ret pally's Burnished set into the holy-oriented Pristine Lightforge loom set, it refuses to let me, telling me "You must be able to equip an item to use its appearance."

I can equip those looms. I quit out of the transmog screen and equipped them right there, just to make sure I could. They're not even meant for different classes, just different specs of the exact same class. Why is it suddenly not letting me mog one mail-to-plate armor piece into another? I'm just trying to make a look that won't clash with a Silvermoon tabard.

Couldn't tell ya - simple solution is to finish leveling and get better gear and/or buy Tier 9-12 for gold and use something not ugly for tmog.....or go farm old raids for tmog once your a few levels above them.

I know how to get non-heirloom gear for transmog. I farm old raids weekly on my max level toons. But it would be nice to be able to use the appearances I want while I level, especially because I actually do really like the look of this particular set that I already have, and I'm just trying to figure out why it's suddenly stopped letting me do so when I've been able to in the past.

people caring about the way their characters look during leveling.

Why should I not care about the gear I have to spend 100 levels staring at, if there's something really quick and easy I should be able to do about it?

5-8 hrs 1-90. 1-2hrs 90-100 after intro. 10 hours max to level to 100 - who really worries about how their gear looks for such a short amount of time?

Just a guess - those people who don't care about speed leveling and enjoy it?

I really don't understand this? Wow is a roleplaying game so of course some of us care about how we look for 100 levels.
