Not surprising. Liberals I've met in real life are much more self absorbed and conservatives are more family oriented. Conservatives having more political oriented words than liberals also makes sense in my experience, because conservatives that would follow the Republican Party are more politically obsessed compared to ones that wouldn't. Most regular conservatives wouldn't follow many outside of family and friends while many not politically obsessed liberals would follow the Democratic Party, Obama, etc...

Liberals are selfish. They turn inwards. Put a liberal in charge of government and that person will think selfishly as well. They will begin to try to find excuses to make government government HUGE and powerful. But whatever they say, know it is because they are selfish. They want the power to control everything for themselves. It all memememmemem.

Liberals control the press, so they will shine a spotlight on like the 10% of conservatives that are selfish until people start making memes that conservatives are selfish. Then they shine a spotlight on the 10% of liberals who aren't selfish until people think they have big hearts.
Check your perception filter.

So liberals are more arrogant and have lower standards? Sounds about right.

well, liberals tend to be young, idiotic college kids that think the world should all bend to their needs and triggers.
liberals really are annoying, even though i agree with a lot of liberal ideas :/
It's interesting to see how most people interpret this based on their political bias. They don't look for more context than the vague cherry-picking stats provided, and instead use this kinda stuff as grounds for an argument, all the while throwing their opinions at eachother like crap-chucking monkeys. I feel like petty flame wars like this is what deters people from politics here in America. The thought of powerful political figures engaging in similar child-like arguments is kind of a troubling thought. Forgive the condescending tone from me, but it's no more ridiculous than this thread. Let's hope it's locked soon - i'll drink to that.

Hahaha, this is ridiculous. Why do I always see conservatives complaining about socialism, because it's taking money off others and using it to give benefits to masses. What is selfish is trying to keep everything for yourself and failing to understand why goverments exist to begin with. Do you seriously believe we'd be better off with minimum regulation with big corporations allowed to control pretty much everything?
Both sides have their flaws and it's quite funny to see either side accuse each other about said flaws and failing to realise their own flaws.

Gotta love the irony of a bunch liberals proclaiming their "individuality" while acting like a hive mind in perfect agreement with some sloppy, nonsense "study".
Since this just seems like an excuse to engage in political bashing (and it's already heading that way), I'm locking this before it goes any further.
