    Logitech g502 random acceleration

okay so this mouse was perfect till around 2 weeks ago when it started having random acceleration

i tried every possible fix so i`m out of ideas at this point

no its not my mouse pad

no, the mouse its not broken or faulty

around that time logitech and windows 7 released updates , so i`m not sure if this is windows problem , or driver problem

is there anyone out there that have the same problem ?

if so please share your info on the matter . thank you in advance

Sounds like the issues the G502 was plagued with on launch. Have you updated the firmware?

yes , i updated them and im almost certain that this is whats causing the problem.

there is a newer version but it seems that i cannot update to it

my version is 88.2.17 while there is a newer version (88.3 ). my drivers says that its up to date so ill have to wait for them to fix that too

one thing i notice is that when i change my poll rate from 1000 hz to 250 hz the acceleration is significantly lower , but still there

Not sure then, I had a problem with 2.17 but updated a bit ago to 3.17. The logitech software still says im using 2.17 but the issues I had went away.

okay after trying numerous other fixes including switching to other windows i can safely say its a driver problem

i guess that we`ll have to wait for update

if anyone else have some input , just type it here

    thanks and good luck
