The west seems to be pretty good at creating their own terrorists.
Recruiting informants and moles from inside a terror organization is a pretty common method of counter terrorism warfare.
How else do you think terrorism acts are being prevented? A policeman / soldier / agent stumbles upon a guy with explosives randomly in the street?

Nice way blaming a government for having a guy behead a bunch of people, pretty reasonable.

I don't think she specified UK, its an obvious reference to Obama inviting that clock kid to the white house

While I am very anti fear mongering you're insane if you think its only conservatives doing it.

As some wit said, "Al Qaeda had 5,000 terrorists, we have killed 10,000, now only 20,000 remain." From Afghanistan through Syria, the War on Terror has consistently produced more terrorism not less (and that's before we start questioning whether things like random US airstrikes are terrorism themselves); either that's a feature and not a bug, or our "leaders" from politicians to generals are so grossly incompetent they need to be removed from office, jailed, and charged en masse.

With the massive influx of Muslim immigrants coming into Europe, Islamophobia is going to skyrocket. And you can't blame people for it for all the shit that happens in the Middle East, and generally how radical a lot of Muslims (from that region) are when it comes to their religion.

Thank you for the beautifully illustrative and ironic example of Islamophobia.

Sorry, didn't realise an observational statement was equal to being an islamophobe... I did say "a lot" and "from that region"... that'd strictly imply all Muslims, right?

Wonder if he got to the part of the book where it explained that the point of terrorism is to get your victims to lash out at each other in fear and to "act" terrorized?
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning.

    "I must not fear.
    Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
    I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
    Only I will remain."

Now re-purposed as a motto for counter terrorism.
"We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

You're both now, and you must fight yourself to the death. Who will win, man or beast - and which is which, really?
