Well $16k is a pretty entry level car.

And while I pay about $20 a week in gasoline, my car also gets 32/41 MPG, and my office is only about 7 miles from my apartment.

It's 7 adult bucket seats, but the legroom does indeed look a bit tight to me:

Edit: The back looks slightly more bench-like.

It can be if you drive a sensible car. Currently our gas is quite cheap. Generally $1.90-$2.10/gallon for regular in New Jersey. And we don't even pump our own gas!

I bought a car that gets between 30-34mpg and I don't drive far from home normally. New Jersey is a small state, and I can do pretty much anything I want without having to drive farther than 50 miles.

That pic makes it look a lot better, definitely more leg room since the chairs aren't as bulky as normal ones.

Indeed. My doctor took one look at my BMI number and said it was bullshit, that while my BMI says I'm Obese, my body fat percentage says I'm mildly overweight.

Here it is in black, which may alleviate some people's concerns about no grille. It's a bit less obvious when it's not blinding whiteness:

Yes, it is an SUV or "sport utility vehicle". They are more or less by definition hideous and impractical looking.
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning.
