I don't think the portrait is in the game yet? In the blue post it did say you'd only get it in October (it's October all month, not just the first 2 days!). If I had to guess, I'd say we'll see it next week when the patch hits the live servers.

Only the Americas and Europe Championships have been confirmed to provide the portrait. I'm sure more will come in the future.

I'm confused... aren't the US and Europe Championships the same as the road to Blizzcon? As in, the world final will be at Blizzcon?

The championships might be the overall finals for Road To Blizzcon, which has been going ever since the game released in June.

People are reporting the Storm Watcher portrait being rolled out. Don't panic if you log in and don't see it right away, these things usually take a few days to get done.

Wonderful, I'm actually now working toward getting those special portraits for multiple heroes levelled though. Glad portraits are a thing now, even if it is a small thing.

Anyone know if there will be anymore regionals before Blizzcon? Would suck if some people forgot and missed out simply because there were only a couple of chances to tune in between the time the portrait was announced and the last regional.

Blizzcon might count but don't quote me on it. I don't remember seeing any announcements for other tournaments counting for it, but it'd be weird if people didn't get the chance again some time.
