I like the earth ones too, and the shots from inside their bucket of bolts of a space ship.

Where are the stars?!!! Clearly fake
i like the ones that show the concealed boom-mikes and gaffer's tape on the sets they were filmed on.
It's a fake, cause they never landed on the moon.
On earth we can see the milky way... except with high pollution.
I wonder why there is no possibility to see at least one light, one star, one something in a least one cliché of those moon missions.
They should photoshop something in there.
So what, no photo are allowed in the night ?

On Earth if I take a picture at night I can't see the Milky Way, or a star, if I am not using a long exposure. Which I wouldn't use if I didn't want to make everything else in the photo look like shit. So unless I am purposely doing stargazing photography, the incredibly weak light signature of stars is going to be left wanting in a photo.
I learned this basic ass concept when I was 14, in 9th grade photo. How it still escapes people is completely beyond me.

Poe's Law applies here. Strenuously.
Thank you, OP. Beautiful.
Everyone: if you've never seen this miniseries, watch it.
They could probably see stars wherever they were on the moon, since there is no pesky atmosphere. You still wouldn't have seen many/any stars in the photo.
I was in an area of New Mexico last year with zero light pollution. You could easily see thousands of stars with the naked eye every night. We had a big bonfire party the last night we were there, and a few of the girls took zillions of pictures. You couldn't see stars in any of them.
I don't think people today really appreciate what the fuck actually happened in 1969, they took a rocket with people in it and fucking flew to another planet and landed on it. Think about how insane that is. Imagine watching that on your TV for the first time..
I'll post my 7 favorite. Just links so it doesn't fill too much.
Double Crater
The best shadow pic.
Earthrise over moon with lander headed for landing. (Actual favorite)
MTV
Color swatches. What is he doing? Redecorating? (Picture of where he broke a rock with color comparison for study)
The only visible star. (Why you can't see other stars in the sky)
What do you mean I can't litter?
Edit: oops, gotta refind the litter one. Accidentally linked the sun twice.
Editx2: Fixed.
